Has anyone being having crazy dreams since being pregnant??? I swear I have had the most crazy dreams lately. Last night was the most bizarre I have had yet. Not sure what happened but apparently I hit DH in the face, somehow grabbed his pillow from underneath him and it ended up on the other side of the room and then I sat up suddenly and woke and my heart was pounding! DH woke up and said that I was NUTS!!! Ha ha I cracked up laughing but I must admit it took a while for my poor heart to settle down! I must have thought that someone was attacking me in my sleep. Anyone else experienced weird dreams??? ------------- Sebastien 2 years old Olivier 3 3/4 years old |

I dreamt that I gave birth to a massive spider!!!! DH nearly refused to come to the birth in case it came true -------------

lol, yeah i have some crazies.
had one last night that i started to go into labour went into a random room where shanti(from shortland street) was my nurse and she got me all ready for a c-section, i was gassed out to it and when i woke i had a tiny baby girl was premature and i asked why i had a section and was told baby was lying across my tummy and i was shocked cause i didnt know. it was a bizzare dream! |

I keep having dreams about friends i haven't seen in years like from primary school days, it's probably cause i should get in touch with everyone and see who's married/ pregnant got 5 kids already etc. I don't recall any scary baby dreams yet baby dreams yet though. ------------- Sarah Mum to, Boy 07/2008, Girl 03/2010, Boy 05/2012, Angel  07/08/2014

No spiders or actors for me yet but last night I dreamt we had a baby girl and she was 2 weeks old and kept talking to me, like in proper English! And, neither DH or me had changed her in the whole 2 weeks (we didn't know how) but she didn't need changing and she was clean. It was weird. Yip, crazy dreams are the first sign of pregnancy for me. and they get odder and more frightening the further along i get. My poor hubby (he get up to milk at 4.15!) gets woken almost every night with my crying and occasionally screaming! i find they are worse if i eat too close to falling asleep (midnight snacks are out...damn it!) and especially vidid if i eat cheese (double damn it!!!!). -------------

I dream almost every night that I have a baby, but its never what I expect, often twins. The other night I had 5 babies, but they were made of black jelly - very vivid dreams.
I also talk in my sleep a lot more when pregnant, and in the last pregnancy I walked in my sleep and went outside to fill a jar with sand. The baby seemd to take over while I was sleeping and make me think all sorts of crazy things.  -------------

I had a dream last night that I was in a Vietnamese restaurant, when a tornado struck. As I ran out of the restaurant I left my handbag with my cellphone inside it. As we drove away from the restaurant everything was destroyed with power lines across the road etc. I found my family but couldnt find my DH anywhere, which was terrifying! I had to either get back to the restaurant to find my cellphone to ring him or find him. Then in the middle of searching I had to stop because we had to make HAY!!!!
Very bizarre! I dont know where the restaurant or the tornado came from (apart from perhaps the tornado being the state of my house at the mo!) but perhaps the cellphone thing was about the fact that DH's phone was destroyed last week when he was pushed into a paddling pool at a stag do. We had to go and get a new one becuase I was scared I wouldnt be able to get hold of him when I needed him, and the hay thing I can only guess that maybe I was starting to wake up and thinking about helping mum and dad out with the hay this weekend! ------------- Sarah, and her little bugs! http://lilypie.com">

I dreamed my Df was a crazy mental killer I woke up in a panic and had to wake him up to make sure he was still my normal DF lol.------------- |

| yep, I definately get the "pregnancy dreams"- really vivid dreams, like those ones where you wake up not sure if it's real or not! I had them right from the start with my first baby too (that died at 7 weeks). when did they start for you? |

Ask Emma about her weird dreams while being pregnant. She had one about me, her, Willie and my DH and how I broke her out of hospital and we went shopping ------------- I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived! |

I get those dreams when pregnant, they freak me out! And I only get them during pregnancy. DH is used to it now, just rolls back over and goes to sleep after telling me to get back into bed. Usually I dream there is something on the roof or wall of the bedroom, mostly spiders, but the other night I thought there was a turtle on the roof and freaked out! My dreams are so real I think I'm lying awake in bed seeing these things and jump out and wack the light on and rip back the covers looking for more. ------------- Mum to two gorgeous girls! |

I think vivid drams are part of being preggers - hormones I think. And lots of women get the crazy strange dreams too.
