Over the past week Ella has started to get way more clingy than normal. She used to fine if I left her playing on her own so I could go to the bathroom etc, but lately everyone I leave she starts to protest- this afternoon she started crying because I got her bag out of the car before her. It isn't just me either, whenever the caregiver left her this afternoon she started doing exactly the same thing. I realise that it is totally normal around 8 months for babies to go through this..........just wondering how long I should expect this phase to last???? ------------- Mum to Ella (5) and Tom (2) |

nah, usually once they get over the sepration anxiety stage it's probably maybe about 1-ish or maybe a little later depending on the child ------------- Janine and her 2 cool chicks, Paris & Ayja

It is defintely the age for her to be clingy. Often babies that have been ok with different people holding them get become very shy at this age too. ------------- http://lilypie.com">
