I have started sleeping Bella in a sleep wedge due to her starting to get a flat head on one side however sleeping this way has made her nappy leak from the top. Has any one else had this happen and what did you do to prevent it?

Hmmmm I've never had this problem and Daniel has been a side sleeper almost from birth. Is she in sposies or cloth?

Does she need to go to the next size up? We found when we used sposies in the beginning they leaked out the top when they were getting too small

Size is definitly ok as she just went up a couple of weeks ago. I think I might try a bodysuit under her onesie as it would kind of "support" the nappy.

Topsy, I have side sleeped Mac from birth also and have had this happen 3 or 4 times. I can't work out why it is either as is not a size thing and happens randomly. Maybe just one of those things....its a pain having to change the bed and dry out the wedge tho.

We found a similar thing, and it turned out that those nappies (they were huggies) were just no good for her. So we swapped brands and have never had another problem!

We use Huggies and have had it happen a few times in a year so not very often. That said I'm not sure if Gina sleeps on her side very often either as we often find her asleep on her tummy nowdays

I use about 3 -4 different types of nappies at the mo as trying to work out which are the best for him and have had leakage from all of them at some stage so am not even sure that its a particular nappy issue with me.
