Can anyone recommend a good trim nappy for us to try? Have just got a couple of the AIO snazzipants and am loving them as they are so trim, but was wondering what other trim nappies people can recomend.

TIA

Swaddlebees are trim, but some people like them others don't. They don't work for us but they are very trim.

was gonna say swaddlebees.. its cause they are narrower thru the scrotch which doesnt make them very good for heavy wetters tho.

I have a chunky-thighed heavy wetter, and I really like Baby Cheeks (from The Baby Factory) for trim daytime use

Baby checks might work with Ella- she has quite 'healthy' thighs as well, and I am even finding now that the large snazzipants are getting a bit tight on her.

Leo's always had chunky thighs and has worn Fuzzi Bunz since he was 5mths. One of the reaons I chose them (amongst others!) was that they were so trim. Even now that he has a standard insert & a booster for daytime use they're still nice & trim and seem to have plenty of room to allow for his thighs. He wore mediums until 16mths and is now in a large. Honey Child are a similar cut too.

I find Fuzzibunz are the trimmest if you can get away with only one insert.

Yeah that is what I use for a trim fit 3boys but since Alize is a heavy wetter I have to change him more often if I only have him in one insert.

Really?? I found that Daniel was always on the widest leg snaps but the tightest tummy snaps and so he grew out of them too fast.. they are good naps though.

Caitlin has ample thighs too LOL and we have a couple of novelty Baby Harmony nappies and they're great but I agree, not that trim. I only got them for the cute factor and only put them on her if she's only got a t-shirt on so she can show them off lol.

It really does depend on what you need to use as inserts or how many inserts etc that makes the nappy trim. You can use just one insert but you may need to change bubs more often.
I've recently tried a cotton pre-fold just on it's on and that was great and really trim! I could even put the nappy on a smaller snap setting

I will have Bitti D'Lish nappies in stock today! They better arrive

These are similar to the Berry Plush system but are extremely trim - compare to the trimness of a Swaddlebee. The come with a snap in insert of bamboo/cotton and you can also get small mini boosters of either bamboo or microfibre. If bubs just wees, you can just replace the inner and snap in another insert.

They are really popular in Australia often selling out of stock.

Come and take a look if you dare

Oh, stop it Karen! I've already been eyeing them up!! I'd love to try one, but I think I need to sell a few things on TM first!! Don't suppose you want someone to trial a nappy or two? I'd be happy to write a review

Fuzzis are really trim for us, but I also found Green Acre Designs (GAD) pockets are really trim too.

I was also eyeing up the D'lish, but at $40 plus postage I don't really know... will think about it some more.

The good thing though with these is you can snap in another insert - which cuts the cost down buying so many outers. Minky nappies tend to be more expensive, but it is such a beautiful fabric that just keeps looking fab wash after wash.

Annnnnddd ... they are cheaper than a similar product - sssh...

My brother became a house husband recently, and I have noticed my niece has gone back to wearing sposies ... probably cos he doesn't want to deal with the washing

I've just added some Bitti D'lish AIO's on Trademe with free shipping. This is just for a limited time - I'm dying to see some of these out there, and being used. The feedback on them in Australia is awesome, people are raving so I want to see what kiwis think

Here is a pic in case you haven't seen.

Just thought I'd mention I've got a Bitti D'Lish and I can't imagine you'd find a trimmer nappy anywhere and that's with about 8 layers of bamboo!

How do you find it copes with poo? Also, do you use an extra booster or just what it comes with? And have you tried changing just the inserts and keeping the wrap on, rather than changing the whole thing?

Hi there, yes I've got an extra booster and sometimes I use it, sometimes not. Poos have been fine so far but not sure how a messy poo would go. I don't have extra inserts to to use with the wrap but Josh's nappy is pretty wet right through so I wouldn't go for that option.

If you have to change the whole nappy each time I guess it's not a very cheap option then!

I have just had ds in his for his afternoon nap. I just unsnapped it all for the wash and the outer was still plenty dry and could easily have had another insert snapped in (he is toilet training through the day now).

I guess if you left the nappy on for a while with very heavy wetting, then yes it will eventually leak onto the outer, and you won't be able to use another snap in.
