Ephraim Kerry Frame arrived at approx 3:10am this morning. weight 4380gms, length 55cm. Waters broke 1:45, contractions started about 10min later. Rang midwife 2:40 to let her know, feeling fine. rang again 2:55 to have her come. Baby born 3:10 (approx as no one looked at time), midwife arrived about 5 min later. Planned homebirth except for the missing midwife. ------------- Mother to two beautiful children - Sophie age 6 and Ephraim age 4 |

Oh Congrats!!!!!! i LOVE the name Do u by chance watch everwood on tv2 on sundays??  i love his sisters name Delia hehe thats on our list of names

A couple of photos taken in first hour after he was born. First Ephraim, second Sophie and Ephraim. Woke Sophie just after he wass born. Had a couple of issues when it came to dressing him - some of the things I had out just weren't going to fit, so had to send someone to get other stuff out, so it was just what they found. Hat he is wearing was mine when I was a baby Weight in pounds is about 9 pounds 7. No I don't watch the show on sat night. Have had some interesting responces to the name - have to say it at least twice to most people. I guess there are both advantages and disadvantages to an uncommon name. Going ok so far - sleeped most of yeasterday and hardly fed, made up for the feeding today. Just waiting to see how things go when milk comes in, starting to feel full already |

Ephraim is pronounced 'Ef-rim' getting there slowly - milk over supply a bit of a mission, but getting there Sophie still totally wrapped with having a baby brother |
