waaaa I am now going to have to buy 6-9 month clothes for my girl and she isnt even 3months old.

| it does slow down!!!! Tom went through the NB, 0-3 month really fast but has only just gone into 6-9month now. SO dont panic yet. |

Ella was (is) a bit like that as well. By 6 weeks she was wearing 3-6 month clothes (00) and by 3 months wearing 6-12 months (0) clothes. She still fits in the 6-12 month clothes now but has also starting wearing size 1 . I still waiting for her growth to slow down....when she was born she was on the 50% pencile line but now she is at the top of her graph for both height and weight (not sure how she manages it as I don't think she eats a lot and since she has just started crawling is very active). ------------- Mum to Ella (5) and Tom (2) |

Kryssi is really tall and did that too. It does slow down eventually. Biggest tip probably is don't buy too many changes until after 1yr  -------------  |

I have started buying clothes that are on special for next summer for Lauren and am buying size 2 as she will be just over 1 by next Christmas but I am picking she will be bigger than average especially considering her Dadday is 6ft 4, and she's looking pretty tall already, she is so long in the body! ------------- http://lilypie.com"> http://lilypie.com">

LOL lots of Elle's clothes are 6 to 9 and she is 18mths!! Most are 6 to 12 though and we are slowly fitting the odd size 1. ------------- Mummy to Gabrielle and Ashley |

I think the only reason we fit 6 to 9 is because it's from the patch factory shop and their sizes are bigger. One of Elle's fav outfits is size 3 to 6mths and she still fits it with room to grow!! ------------- Mummy to Gabrielle and Ashley |

my DH is 6'3..I roughly measured Megan this morning and she is about 66cms but her legs were slightly bent so probably a bit longer.
a few weeks ago a friend and I were at farmers...she had her then 11 month girl with us anyway she ended up getting a skirt for her daughter size 0 (6-9 months) and it was swimming on her and to think I am already buying size 0 for my girl . ------------- http://lilypie.com">

It's weird huh. My DH is 6"4 (off the charts) and all his family are tall. I'm just over 5"6 (50th percenile) and I'm almost the shortest in my family and yet Elle is below the 15th percentile for height. Docs keep wondering if their is something wrong with her height but I try not to worry as she generally grows ok. ------------- Mummy to Gabrielle and Ashley |

Lily has been in 9mth clothes for a while now, and has some size ones. She is another one up the top and above of the height and weight graph. -------------

Keziah can still wear 0000's (most of her all-n-ones for sleeping) at times although most of her summer gear is 000's and they'll fit for a while yet. she's tall and lean, so most of her NB long pants are now 3/4's lol -------------

yeah my DD is in the 6-9 month clothes, she is just over 5 months. She is quite long!! Just like her dad and me!!
I'm really fustrated at PP as they have lovely clothes but the 6-12 months is just too big for my DD. |

Where do you guys get your 6-9 month clothes from?
I just got some new clothes for Elle, 18mths, from Farmers and the 6-9 size is too big! It is wearable but long and baggy!! She needs 3-6mth tights otherwise they are like baggy 3/4 pants. JK do 6-9 month clothes, and I have always found their clothes a little on the small size (i.e. at 4 months Ella was wearing their 9-12 month togs and they were a perfect fit). Otherwise you check out the PP outlet shop as some of their older collections have 6-9 month sizing. Does anyone else find that sometimes the PP sizing is a little off? the other day Ella was wearing a size 2 top and it was a perfect fit- I did wonder if the top had the wrong size on it as there is no way she should be wearing size 2!!!! ------------- Mum to Ella (5) and Tom (2) |

T is in size 2 from about Xmas, he wasn't even 18 months.
My family is short! Dh's family only average. There is hope for him yet! I find patch to be the best fit and worth every penny. Lets just add T had Miss C in a small fitting size 6-9months on Sat. I had to point out when the long sleeve heads up her arm it tends to mean she is growing out of it LOL :) |

It's definately hard to get it right! I haven't tried JK for their clothes yet, but I get most of Ava's stuff from Farmers and the WH
I just bought Ava some trousers from Farmers 6-9 months, they are too long but fit her well round the waist, we are going into cloth nappies this week so I'll need the extra room. She doesn't fit the 3-6 month stuff and the 6-9 month is too big! She is at that in between stage! I have noticed that some labels tell you the weight, which for a 6-9 month is about 10kg, Ava is a bigish baby at 8kg!! I suppose we just have to grin and bear it for the time being! |

i have noticed that every store is completley diffent in sizing.........frustrates me............my boy is 9mnths and he is wearing 1 and 2 year clothes and dont even get me started on how big his feet are...holy cow i have never seen such big feet.............my brother is getting married in a month and do you think i can find shoes grrrrrrrrrr ------------- http://lilypie.com">  http://lilypie.com">

Jillian, I usually find the PP clothes are on the bigger side. I think it just depends on the cut with kids clothing though. I have some JK stuff that never fitted Sam. They seem to have very small neck holes on their tops and some things won't go over her head! And I don't think she has a larger than average head, or maybe she does and people are too scared to tell me ------------- http://lilypie.com">

It seems to me that the sizes of baby clothes are completely random. Anyssa is wearing every size between 000 and 2! Sometimes even the same brand fits differently! I got some 6-9mth JK trou that fit her now, and some 3-6mth JK jeans that are too long. Also got a size 2 dress from cotton on kids (for next summer) that she can get away with wearing now (granted it is baggy). 3-6mth PP stuff fits her well, but farmers 3-6mth is really big... ------------- http://lilypie.com">  http://lilypie.com">
