How much water generally should you use in the crockpot

I'm a newbie with this too susieq.. it really does vary depending on if you are using other things that contain liquid - such as a can of tomatoes & their juice etc..

A lamb curry - around 1.1Litres of lamb stock

Beef & vegies - 1.1 Litres water with stock mixed in..

You might use for instance only 600mls of water plus a couple cans of tomoatoes if making a pasta dish or something similar..

Vegie soup - 1.5Litre/3.. it all depends on the thickness you are looking for here too.

If you buy flavour satchets they will tell you how much but most of the time I just cover the food
