Does anyone have any recommendations?  Ive looked at slings ... but DH would prefer a front pack ... so far I like the look (and its a reasonable price) of the Phil and Teds Pepe (as we have a newborn)

But of course I am open to any and all suggestions ... (my arms are beginning to ache from carrying Miss Isabelle around all day and night!)

I've got a Mei Tai and I love it. So does Cooper. It was quite reasonably priced too.

I got mine from http://www.junglemama.co.nz/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/32?osCsid=d06c0a4f7e140249f1ff89335c6c3bab - Junglemama

If you look at

http://kozycarrier.homestead.com/instructions.html#anchor_283 - This it shows the different ways that you can carry baby.

I have the phil & ted and love it. DH uses it all the time. its realy esy to get bubs in and out of even on your own.

We have both a sling and a front pack. The sling was great when he was little but now he is 15lb and its a bit hard on the neck and shoulders. The front pack is still really comfy to wear.

We have a sling, but I havent mastered how to carry the wee man in it yet! We have also got an Elite Cruiser front pack which we got from Baby Factory, I think it was about $70. Its great, when he was little we would carry him facing us and he would snuggle in and go straight to sleep, now he is bigger (and nosey) we carry him facing outwards, and he LOVES being able to see what is going on.

I have a sore back, and find it really comfortable to carry him for long periods of time (we did all our Xmas shopping with me carrying him in the front pack!!)

We have a sling and an ergo carrier, which can be a front or back pack. I haven't tried any other front packs, but love the ergo, it's really comfortable and easy to get on and off. A friend and I took our babies out in front packs, she has an elite one (I think?) and she tried the ergo and loved it too, said it was heaps easier to get on and different support-wise to her one. But I think most are pretty good. There is a website called The Baby Wearer (.com) that will probably have reviews and other stuff on it about front and back packs.

I have used a sling and an Elite frontpack, and both were great, but we now have an Ergo carrier too and I wish I had bought it sooner! They aren't cheap but well worth it, and you can get an infant insert for little bubbas too.

I don't like the Baby Gear one because it doesn't have much head support. That's all I know lol

I have an elite front pack. I've only just started using it though, with Eva facing outwards. She didn't seem comfy in it as a NB.
