I have totally lost interest in Shorty St. ..boring storylines and have dragged this 'serial killer' story on FAR TOO LONG! ...I think they will also lose a number of fans through doing this.
I'm sure I read/heard somewhere that Joey doesn't actually leave our screens until some time in May '08 ...now if that's true, what the hell is going to happen with his character in the next 3 or so months ...boring 
Personally I am LOVING Home & Away at the moment, I had stopped watching it near the end of last year, and just recently started catching up (thanks to YouTube) ...story lines are just warming up, I can tell you there are some really juicy things coming up ...incl. main characters dying, HIV, teen pregnancy ...the works! Much more entertaining than Shorty I've been keeping right up to date with episodes as they are screening in Aussie (unfortunately we are about 6 weeks behind) ...anyone interested in viewing the latest episodes PM me and I can give you the links... ------------- Single Mum to a darling wee boy of 3 years :) |

Johnny Barker (Joey Henderson ) has left the show now, so the storyline should be rounded up by next month, tho its kind of obvious it is, what with his mother coming etc.
He said in an interview that his last scene is some big chase seen , he said its kind of similar to the Shining-i wonder if he means the Stanley Kubrick one or the remake, cant say i think he would be as scary as Jack Nicholson :-P |

We were talking about this on another board, and someone suggested that perhaps the cops have asked his mother to come in and see if she can get thru to him. Clearly his mother has her doubts about him.
I've said for awhile now that I think that Kieran will bust Joey. He was saying on Breakfast that he based Joey on JD from Scrubs and the evil Joey on Dexter. The serial killer, serial killer programme. He's also making a docu about his time and how it's effected his life since it came out that it was him that was the killer. What pisses me off, is that they've brought back Tanias woe is me storyline

I agree with you all - totally not worried if I miss an episode now (which has been happening because I have been napping as I am so tired atm!) but more concerned if I miss Home and Away which I just started watching again last week!

I'm hating Shortland Street too. I don't think there are actually any characters on there at the moment that I like.

Am also totally over shorty but keep watching in case the one i miss is the one where they get joey. Was very disappointed to see Morgan come back alive cos the end of the story line looked as if it was within sight! Ha, my friend Brian went out with Craig Parker (Guy) IRL (anyone surprised? really ?) Tania i can understand, she has been f*cked around pretty badly by Mark,in saying that tho , she shouldn't compare all her future partners to her ex. Dont think Alice will be his next victim, cos hes cr*p at murdering them now! but i do think she'll be the one he focuses on and tries to kill . wish he would kill Shanti, shes nauseating. Home and away? ugh, no thanks, if i wanted to watch people get killed then come back to life i would watch X files repeats, Sally is the only one i like and shes leaving As for Friends, thank goodness for Friends, no matter how many times i see the episodes, still makes me laugh |

I think Sarah has a brain tumour. DH told me tht was very insensitive to think that but i was like, its a tv show! I thought she was depressed at the beginning of the week so I guess they'll keep us guessing!
I used to be addicted to H&A but its getting so unrealistic, they all get married when they're 18 and then they have babies and move to the city unless its the end of the year and then they die because of a crazy killer or from a random sickness. I love Coro though (enough characters/familys to mix it up) but always get my UK MIL to tell me whats happening or I look up the storylines on their fan pages. **SPOILER***(Traceys trial isn't until like April so its going to go on for ages yet - can't stand her!) Nah I think she was pregnant when she was in Aussie, I think she m/c over there and thats why she came back wanting to try for a baby. Thats my theory anyways. She has been acting weird ever since she came back from Aussie..... I think this cos she acted all emotional over the lady that had the m/c, and she isnt usually the type of character to let work get to her like that. I love H & A and I hardly watch SS anymore, have to agree with all the h&a ones getting married REALLY young, and all the teens are in way serous relationships, and the adults that do get married are all besties withthe teens (like that happens in real life) and they all have gorgy weddings that look expensive but they never saved for a year for? and they all do their own hair? WTF?
Love it anyhow, except I hate that sam, she's waay insecure, and Martha and Jack, waht a blardy carry on, and I'm glad we don;t have to see Cassies fivehead anymore, cos sh's got a fringe, AND (on a roll) anyone noticew how we see Pippa (sallys baby) more now? ------------- The Honest Un PC Parent of 2, usually stuck in the naughty corner! :P |

Probably seeing more of Pippa since Sally must surely be going soon. I never understood why they didn't give Cassie a fringe from the beginning, ive seen pictures with her having a fringe and she looks really nice . Is Alf still around? Have seen a pic of Joey actually pulling the person out of his van by the legs,and they look like women's legs, so im very confused |

maybe Joey kills Alice and had to drug Craig to stop him from finding out - that pic def looks like Craig - check out the stubble and the rounded chin, doesn't look like any other SS character.

LOL yeah oompaloompa is the first thing that comes to mind when Cassie is mentioned - whats up with the orange tan? ...Martha hasn't been looking so great lately either, her skin has gone all bumpy ...that girl must not be looking after herself very well...

sorry just thought id bring back this thread, my friends went to the premiere of next monday tuesday and Wednesdays episodes and their verdict is that they are awesome, way better than the (anti) climax cliff hanger last year, it starts unfolding tonight so if your'e able to, make sure you watch it
