Just wondering how long it was or has been.

Just realised this is month 8 for us. I thought it had only been 7. My doctor told me to go back and see him if we hadn't conceived within 8 months.

I fell pregnant with Olivia on our second month trying. DP was on prescribed sinus medication the week of conception that had pseudoephridrine in it - whether that helped his little guys along we don't know

This will be our first month of actually trying. Its scary hearing how long it can take. Perhaps we should be really trying and not just seeing whether it happens on its own...

this is month 10 for us. First 8 months or so of just trying to relax (ha!) and letting it happen, now I'm charting and have a microscope and we've done tests to make sure he's in working order.
If one more person tells me to relax, and that it'll happen when it is meant to happen I'm gonna slap 'em.

I think it's just over 3.5 years for us. It's 4 yrs in July. I think

That's a bit terrible isn't it? Not the 4 years, but the not knowing!

Charlotte was a woopsie so when it took just over a year to conceive Kate it was quite a shock, thought we would fall really easily. Worked out well in the end though as I'm so happy with a 3 year gap

I came off contraception at the end of Nov '05 but we weren't trying trying, IYKWIM.
I didn't chart or temp or anything..we just went with the flow.
I got pregnant off my April '07 cycle. So 17 months...

Hang in there, hun. Getting pregnant, and pregnancy itself is such a flawed process. But when it works, it works amazingly. I have my fingers crossed for you

Wow, some of you guys are absolute troopers.

Well I've made an appointment to go to the doctors this afternoon anyway. I have a couple of things that I need to see him about so it's all timed quite nicely.

I had mentally prepared myself before we even started trying that it would take at least a year so I'm not freaking out yet.

Will still discusss it with my doctor, he'll ask when I see him anyway.

We're like Jennz, Maya was a "whoopsy" so when we started TTC #2 we thought it would be easy but nope, 12 months/13 cycles including one m/c to conceive the gremlins. I had just started having testing done when we got preg with the baby we m/c, I had a d and c and then was pregnant 6 weeks later so I still wonder if maybe there was a bit of endo or something there that got cleaned out with the d and c (mum had severe endo and there were some 'abnormal cells' on the tissue collected from my d and c.
Iggle Piggle is a one hit wonder. I was a bit complacent about contraception given how long it took to conceive the gremlins and I swear we only BDed ONCE and hello baby! Makes me feel so guilty coz having experienced subfertility I know how lucky we are to have conceived so easily this time, even if it wasn't planned.

Stopped using contraception two weeks before our wedding day as we were wanting to ttc pretty soon after getting married so we thought what the heck we won't get pregnant straight away, these things take time....

......little did we realise I would be 9 days pregnant on our wedding day!

We took nearly two years to get to where we are now, but with two miscarriages in between.

First time we got pregnant on the second cycle of tyring, but miscarried. Then I went for nearly a year before they found cysts and put me back on the pill. Came off pill and got pregnant again on the second cycle, but also ended in miscarriage.

This pregnancy was the second cycle after our last miscarriage, so there seems to be a theme here!!

I was lucky enough to get pregnant just after coming back from our honeymoon (found out beg March 07) missed m/c at 12 weeks at end of April 07, took another 9 months to conceive this wee bean - we tried every month after the m/c - I thought I would've conceived straight away after all the stories I had read on here about being the most fertile after a m/c etc, but not in my case.
I have certainly learnt in the past year that TTC and actually doing so isn't as easy as I thought it would be. I had never heard about EWCM or charting or OPKs before my m/c!
