Oh my gosh i this last Saturday!! I had to so bad that i was crying and nearly called my MW.
Mine felt like REALLY bad stitch on my right side, and it was worse when I tried to walk. I just had to stay as still as i could with the heat pack on my side and I took some pamol. It went away after about half an hour, then I got sort of niggy pains for a while after that. I havent had it that bad since but I do still get the odd stitch pain or ache that lasts a few seconds if I stay still till it passes.
After my bad half hour with that pain, that night I noticed he had moved up and now I feel him kick me under the ribs, so i must have had a huge stretch so he could move or something!
Round ligament pain sucks

I don't know about round ligament pain, but my pains have so far been mainly on either side of my groin/hip area. I've been told that it's my hips starting to move to accommodate the ever-expanding uterus... yay!
Copied from ever-useful google:
Many women experience round ligament pain during their pregnancy. Typically, round ligament pain is noticed in the second trimester-but it can occur in early and late stages of the pregnancy as well. The pain is felt in the lower abdomen and groin area. There are two cord-like muscles located at the top of the uterus that extend through the abdominal wall and end in the vulva. The round ligaments are made of the same smooth muscle tissue that the uterus is made of. Throughout pregnancy, the round ligaments will stretch and grow with the growing uterus and this can cause pain for the mother. You might experience the pain on one side or both sides.
Round ligament pain is usually worse when you walk or suddenly change positions in the bed. However, you might also notice the pain for no apparent reason. The pain associated with round ligament syndrome is a sharp, cramping or stretching pain along one of the ligaments. Rather than making abrupt and sudden position changes, try getting up slowly to prevent the stretching pains.

Yes I have pain on my left side that comes and goes all the time. I curl up when it is really bad and this seems to help a little though if it does't go away uncurling can be very painful.

I haven't had any this time, I guess it's one of the few bonuses of having had so many babies - everything is alrady stretched to buggery!
