Can anyone tell me if it is normal to get morning sickness back with a vengance in the 3rd trimester???? I was starting to feel really good (only throwing up once or twice a week). This lasted from 24-29 weeks, but over the weekend I have gone back to constant nausea and power chucking all my meals I'm feeling pretty helpless - any tips on what to do with this????? I still have at least 6 weeks left of work so need to be able to function semi-normally.....

I hate to say it but I got my all day sickness the worst in the 1st & 3rd trimester. And Alex was born in October so heat wasn't really a problem, although that probably can't be helping.

In the third trimester, your tummy is realllly squashed but your appetite is realllly big to try and accomodate for growing bub.. probab is - you will find if you eat that much - one good kick from bub and ooops, up it all comes. so try and stagger things out and eat smaller meals frequently to curb your hunger but also cos your stomach probably can't handle much more than that.

Actually Janine, you are right. My appetite is enormous at the moment - after dinner the other night I had two sandwiches (egg and salad), and last night I had a huge amount of curry, then two peaches, a bowl of muesli and a creme egg!! Perhaps I am eating too much

It's frustrating more than anything. I was feeling so good for a few weeks, and now it's back to spquare one (only with a much bigger belly ). How are you doing Nikki??

well, if its any consolation, only a maximum of 13 weeks to go (i factored in 2 weeks overdue)

LOL @ Lizzle factoring in the weeks overdue!

I wish I had some advice Clare but I was down to eating toast and jam for breakfast lunch and dinner by the third trimester, so I probably wouldn't recommend that...
