CSO Kids A concert for 2-5 year olds Thursday 20 March 2008 Salvation Army Citadel Cnr Durham & Chester St Two concerts: 10.30 am and 12.30pm Come and experience the excitement and colour of a live symphony orchestra conducted by Patrick Shepherd performing Teddy Bears’ Picnic, In the Hall of the Mountain King, Radetsky March and more… The programme runs for 50 minutes and is planned especially for this age-group. The music is bright, lively and energetically presented and the children are encouraged to respond to and even conduct the orchestra as it plays. The final treat is a walk through the orchestra to see and hear the instruments close up. A wonderful opportunity to introduce young children to the delights of orchestral music!
