Just yesterday I noticed the tiniest chip in Lucas front top tooth (only came through late january so still a new tooth)! It's not extremely noticeable but I am a little concerned that there could be underlying cracks that I can't see or the chip could cause tooth sensitivity? Is it a case where I need to get a dentist to check it? (not that Lucas would let anyone near his mouth, heck its hard enough trying to brush his teeth)
Is it a cause for concern? Or is this quite common? ...with learning to walk and crawling into things? ...I just can't recall Lucas having any accidents or bumps in the past week that could have caused this, however I've now taken his silver bracelet off of his wrist as I thought maybe he had been chewing on that!
Help put my mind at ease someone ...please! Has anyone else's bub chipped their tooth in some way, shape or form? Would it pay to get it checked by someone? ...I can't help but worry that this tiny chip could lead to a bigger problem/issue - ya know what its like always thinking worst case scenario!
Any feedback, experiences or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hannah pushed out two teeth when she was about 1 year... at different times. Freaky stuff. Anyway, she's good! I just pushed them back in and it was alright. Apparently you aren't meant to but meh.
The only thing I think they worry about is if the baby tooth is out completely and then pushed back in as it can harm the tooth underneath. That just means it may be discoloured when it comes through.
I'd say he'll be fine... their poor little teeth seem to get a hammering during that terribly unco-ordinated age!!

Ollie has a little chip in one of his front teeth. I took him to the dentist (just for a general check-up) and she didn't mention it at all. So I guess if he isn't in pain and its just a little chip then its probably fine.

Exactly the same here!! Joey has a chip on one of the bottom front two and had his first dental nurse visit today - she didn't say anything!
