Warning I did say TMI for a reason.
When I had Andrew I had a pretty normal delivery (apart from an induction) he grazed me slightly on my minor (I think thats the word) labia (you know the inside bits) and my MW told me (as a joke) I had such a short labour and delivery I can't get away with no stitches so she put a couple on the graze so that I didn't fuse together (and I have no idea where this actually happened).
Josh was even simplier and didn't need anything at all (YAY).
So now the TMI, I was having a look down there tonight and could see a white line so I felt it (as you do) and its quite bumpy could this be the scar?? If so how come I am only noticing it now and DH never has before
Weird I know.

I'd be too scared to look Not that I had any dramas with delivery, one dissolving stitch after the gremlins, but it's just icky. The last time I saw my girly bits up close and personal was in a mirror with Sienna's head coming out!

I've got photos of Josh coming out, not enough time to get a mirror.
After all the stuff i've had down there its nothing weird to me now.
Might have to ask Dr Gratn about it next time I see him.

Willie held the mirror so I could see. I saw Maya crowning in the mirror but there was no one to hold it so I didn't see her being born but I actually saw Sienna coming out.

**Warning TMI here as well**
I had an episiotomy after I started to tear with Lucas ...LOTS of stitches and around 6 weeks to properly heal, I stupidly decided to get a mirror and look down there when he was about 7.5weeks old and SHOCK HORROR ...my dissolvable stitches were no longer visible, but i had lots of 'pot holes' where I hadn't been stitched properly (i could actually stick my finger in them). So a trip to the Dr's to find out this couldn't be fixed instead I just had to wait for it all to heal over, I have a very visible scar now, can't feel it as such! But have actually noticed my inner bits hang out a lil and nothing is the same down there anymore!
So glad I don't have a partner, haven't even given sex a second thought since having bub! Don't know if I ever want to go there again as I'm so insecure about my bits down there and the fact that they dangle (tmi I know) ...and as for the 'pot holes' (as the nurse referred to them) ...they're now like little tucks in the skin, not as deep but still there! I certainly lucked out in that area, Lucas' birth was not pretty either...
Becks I wouldn't worry too much if DH hasn't mentioned anything and you've just noticed ...as long as they're getting some action I don't think they honestly care (maybe thats just the anti-male in me speaking) ....hmmm.

Doesn't happen very often here; its a feast or famine
Might still get Dr Grant to have a look at it when I see him to put my mind at rest; i'm sure its the scar

Mum2Lucas.. I have an episotomy scar too, though thankfully I don't have the pot hole thing. I can feel my scar though. I've looked in the mirror. My bits "dangle" a little too. So gross! lol

I think mine is still bumpy to the touch but I'm usually not silly enough to look down there! (Last time I did I freaked out and felt really queasy and I don't like that feeling!) I guess it doesn't register on the male scale all that much cause it doesn't make a whole lot of difference to them And no, I'm not anti-males

Yeah I never imagined just how different my body would be after having Isla. Like Mum2Lucus,..I was silly enough to look with a mirror when Isla was about 6 weeks old,...my god It really traumatised me,..havent looked since,..yuk yuk. Still cant stand the thought of having a smear test or even using tampons, . As for my boobs,...I lost 2 sizes from my pre- preg size,..all floppy skin here too!

oh man, Kellz I wish I could say I've lost 2 cup sizes ...I'm still a large size and very very saggy ...If I had the money I'd def go and get a reduction & uplift.
I hate mirrors full stop, and its not just my boobs that sag. I have all this excess skin on my tummy! I swear none of my friends bodies came off half as bad as mine!
Did any of you used to watch 'The Swan'? ...I didn't agree with it (as I WAS against surgical enhancement), but now I'd be first in line to go on the programme as a contestant if they brought it over here! LOL
On a serious note though, it was lovely what they did for most of those ladies ...building up their self esteem again and giving them a second chance at life with a new body/outlook! Hmmm

Childbirth is the reason I am waaaaaaaay too afraid to go to get myself waxed.
And I'm not silly enough to look down there. Ignorance is bliss people.

I want my pre-preg B cup back... D size breasts are annoying. They jiggle when I run. Jiggle is annoying. I don't think I'd trade them for an A cup though B probably, C definately... Here's hoping they go down a bit with the next one. Or at least don't get any bigger

lol I'd kill for D sized boobs, you think yours jiggle. Mine bounce like mad! And then finding a sports bra to actually fit these babies is such a mission and even then they still bounce like crazy!

I have internal stitches - needless to say I haven't felt them or looked at them in the mirror
I miss my D boobs!! I would do anything to get them back! I am still not used to my post pregnancy body and it's been 5 months!!
My plan is to marry a plastic surgeon and get all my work free! Tee hee hee

I had internal stitches, and quite a few external ones.
I had 3 layers of stitching and nearly tore front to back
Yes there is scar tissue that runs in a ridge from back to up inside about 1cm, and yes, I can see a scar.. But I dont really think about it that much.
First time DH and I bd'd after hiving Ethan was really traumatic for me as all I could think about was this scar. Now it doesn't really bother me.
