I just talked to my sister on the other side of the world... I could see her, hear her (and the kid screaming in the background!), just about smell her and she is thousands of miles away!! We got SKYPE so that we could do just that, coupled with a mic and a webcam it is perfect!
(We sent my sister off on her OE with her boyfriend on Tuesday - Luke and I miss her already!! Funny how you don't always appreciate sisters enough until they aren't here anymore... ------------- Mum to two beautiful kids

I must admit to hating Skype when it comes to people calling through to the call centre on it. You can never hear them properly and they are always cutting in and out. One girl refuses to take the calls and has them ring back on the free phone. ------------- http://lilypie.com">

yeah can be a few mic issues, but better (and cheaper) than a landline for calling UK... ------------- Mum to two beautiful kids

I love my webcam and MSN for that same reason. ------------- I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived! |

| yeah we've been using skype to show off our girls to their aunties, uncles and grandparents in Ireland. Definitely helps the distance not seem so much. |
