It can be months or weeks or days Sorry I know, not particularly helpful, but Sam's top teeth have been coming through forever and everytime I think they are going to pop through they don't!!!!
Her first two bottom teeth finally popped through when she was 5 months after teasing us for ages too

It can take forever, I've seen Daniels on numerous occasions and it's just teased us a lot

Lucas was showing signs of teething and I could see his teeth under the gums at around 4 months. He didn't get his first teeth until 8.5 months...

Couple of days for me! Sam has four top teeth and four bottom teeth already and he's only 9 months old. He cut the first two bottom teeth at three months after a week or so of drooling and showing other signs of teething.
