Hi ladies,

Does anyone kwow where to get a glass plate that sits on the runner thingy and goes round in the microwave?

I managed to drop mine on the weekend and its smashed!

We tried replacing it with the one out of the old microwave but it doesn't work...

Bummer!
You might need to contact the manufacturer. My mum was forever warning me to be very careful not to drop ours when I cleaned it because they're so expensive to replace, eek!
Hope thats not true in your case!

Depending on what brand/model your microwave is, you may have to take a visit to a local small appliance store and ask them if they can order one in for you.

I had a Warehouse microwave that the tray smashed on and I just rang them and they ordered one in for me. I think it was about $50 tho, ouch!

or get cheap replacement off TM as in entire microwave and use plate from that...seriously might be cheaper than buying the plate!

My hubby is a tv tech, and repairs microwaves, and always has plenty to sell, so check out your small appliance fixers!

I would check out TM for plates, surely people have microwaves go bust and decide to try for a couple of $$ from the plate?

Not all plates fit in all microwaves though, we had one lady (at my last job) explode her microwave because the plate wasn't turning properly
