Just thought this might be interesting just in case any of you have had/are having issues with visible tattoos with work or functions etc :)
I was in the chemist today and saw that the Thin Lizzy range of makeups etc now have this concealer designed to coverup anything unwanted. We tried it on my tattoo on my arm which is black, and it covered it up like it was never there - was really impressed. I dont have a link to show you, but they have over 10 different shades and its about $40 bucks for a small tube (expensive I know, but it actually worked)

That's great to keep in mind as I have them all around my ankles which means I feel a little uneasy wearing dresses when out in public as people are so judgemental & blatantly stare at them ....then do the once over on me (I'm nearly 21, look like im 17 as I'm smallish) ...and I have a kid so God knows what they are thinking!

thats really good to know. mY work is rather old-fashioned and while I hide my tattoo during the day, we have a formal in term two and I wanna wear something sleeveless./

I would never hide mine either! If anything when people at work see mine they comment positively on them. They usually only see the ones on my ankles and not the ones on my back unless it's summer.

It's not that I care what people think, my parents prefer that I cover them up when out in public with them.

However I usually prance around town with my 3/4 pants on, heck find me a woman in south auckland that DOESN'T have tattoos LOL ...i fit right in

But dresses for some reason I feel uneasy wearing BECAUSE of my tattoos, they just don't seem to mash ...you get where I'm coming from? ...I guess maybe it's something to do with the tattoos around ankles not looking so feminine!

And meh people will always make preconceived misconceptions no matter who you are or what you do, thats the society we live in. Stereotyping sucks...
