Good question ... I think I googled a question and stumbled across this site ... I was quite far into my pregnancy when I butted in on the January Mummies Board ... luckily they are theeeee friendliest bunch of women and they welcomed me with open arms ------------- Mummy to Issy (3) and Elias (18 months) I did it .. 41 kgs gone! Teehee, many, many years ago in the deep dark distant past, I got a leaflet about OHbaby! in my Bounty pack from Birthcare when Maya was born (I told you it was many years ago!) The site was brand new, there were no message boards and it looked very different to how it does now. Searching for baby names and found this site Back in the dark ages the night before i had Paris (was looking for boys names as we didn't have one). Put on favourites, forgot about it in the haze of the first few months and returned again one day when she was about 8 or 9 months old after deciding to clear out the favourites folder... needless to say this one didn't get deleted. ------------- Janine and her 2 cool chicks, Paris & Ayja

When I was in the UK I posted on UK babycentre - someone on there recommended this forum (when it had just started) as it was a NZ one. I popped in and joined but never really posted - it was quite quiet in those days compared to my well established babycentre forum and the NZ stuff just wasn't relevant to me then. When i got back to NZ I found a couple of close family members were well addicted and I got sucked in....and now I'm nearly at my 100th post!! ------------- http://lilypie.com">

I googled a question I had not long after becoming pregnant, found the whole forum idea a little weird and thought nothing more of it - until I had a question I really wanted to ask and none of my mates were pregnant... so began the addiction! Google. I joined a year ago but has been reading the forums for a few months before deciding to join in. We hadn't told anyone that we were going to try for a baby so it was neat to be able to talk to people going through the same thing. -------------
