Has anyone tried either the bumbo or bebepod seat? Do you like them? Are they worth the money? Do you know the differences between the 2? Am thinking about getting one for Sophie, but they are quite expensive so would like to hear what others think first.
TIA

We have a bumbo..
Do you like them? YES!
Are they worth the money? It has been for us. It was good when we were starting solids and we use it as like a portable high chair still now.

We had Bumbos and hell yes, definitely worth their weight in gold, esp as my lazy gremlins didn't sit till nearly 8 mths. Mine have done the rounds too, Bombshell and Mum2Sam had them for their wee girls, now Jaz has one for her wee man and I keep meaning to give the other one to .Mel to borrow for Cooper...

We have a bumbo and love it! My wee man has awesome head control so has been in it for the last 3 weeks for short bursts and loves it.
Its great for playing with them face to face, taking to the park, solids etc.
Def worth the money and even more so if you are planning on having another.

I loved it for Sam (thanks Emma), but am sort of glad I didn't spend the money and buy one. After a while Sam started to arch her back and could get herself out of it.
I would perhaps suggest borrowing one for a week or so before you make the decision to buy it.

Thanks guys! Sounds like everyone likes them. Will have a look on TM and see if I can get one a bit cheaper, or may look into borrowing one to start with... just have to find someone with one around here!

If you are ever in Palmy you can borrow ours. We don't use it a great deal at the moment. Mostly just when Daniel is awake and I'm hanging out the washing. It's good for making sure he's not off eating bark and dirt

LOL.. thanks Stacey!! I have had a look on TM. There are a few on there for about $60. I might just go and order one with a tray from winkalotts. It seems like everyone likes them, and I can always re sell if it doesn't work out.

You can also hire Bumbo's from :
http://www.babyonthemove.co.nz/index.html - Baby on the Move
Not all babies like them, so might be worth a try first.
