I don't know if it was lack of drive, morning sickness, or fear of hurting the baby, but we only had 'relations' about 5 times during my entire pregnancy. Some people say theirs comes on with a vengeance but definitely not for me.
I'm not one to ask for advice about it tho - Willie went 'shopping around' to solve the problem (We were only very barely together at that stage)

I had quite a high drive during both my pregnancies, but I bled so much with Josiah it kinda put a dampner on things. I didn't fully get my sex drive back until Josiah was a couple of months old and all the random bleeding had stopped.
That aside, us women are funny creatures. The more sex we have, the more we want! AND, if we tell ourselves we are maybe a little interested in some fun with our partners, then we will enjoy that fun more! What I did to help get my drive back was tell Nathaniel in the morning that I was going to jump him that evening, then the for rest of the day the anticipation would help get me in the mood to follow through on my promise.

hey Jess i had no sex drive at all with both my pregnancies My hubby got it twice with my first and once with my second, i'm suprised he didn't pack his bags and leave . With Blair it took a while to come back but with the twins it was back within 3 months. I remember talking to my midwife about this and she said it is very normal some women want it and others don't.

I had a huge sex drive with my first, then nothing with my second and third, I'm probably lucky hubby didn't go walk about. Talk about being patient. I was 4 months pregnant with our second on our wedding night and he didn't even get it then.

There really is nothing you can do. I don't seem to have that problem yet, but my bump is starting to make things difficult! haha
I did read though that mid-pregnancy is when some woman enjoy making love more than ever before... so fingers crossed perhaps?
I'm sure your hubby loves you to bits and can live without it for the sake of his child... I find my darling hubby is sometimes too concerned about the baby to want to go there anyway.
Its hard, but its just one of those things you have to sacrifice I guess?

My hubby is very understanding and to be honest we both feel it would be a little wierd...silly I know!
Probably a good thing seeing as I have as much interest in sex as I do in have a root canal with no pain relief!

hehe. go ana!!!
As for me, drive is pertty much gone, although with Lewis back in Japan, it's probably a relief to him, rather than a misery. However, I must say that using it for guilt-tripping works a treat.
"i'm just so tired after looking after the kids AND doing all th housework.." (me)
"Here baby, let me wash the dishes and vacuum for you tonight" (lew)
"oh, that wuold help a little....probably be feeling relaxed enough if you gave me a massage too...." (me)

Very good liz lmao!!!
I had a really high sex drive when preg and after had the boys. As for now - well since my ex and I broke up its nothing!! People ask if I miss sex but I'm way too busy running around after two 2year olds and to be quite honest have gotten used to not having to share my bed (unless one of my little dudes sneaks in in the middle of the night lol)
