I bought a box for mine and non acidic paper (something to do with not making the dress go yellow). I bought both of those in the UK though.
Anyway here is the site, they have a FAQ page that tells you all the does and don'ts for storing it.

Mine's also stored in a box with the special acidic paper{just like tissue paper}.Not sure where you get it though.

Have you already had it drycleaned? The place I had mine done wrapped it in the tissue paper stuff and put it in a special storage box    i think alot of drycleaners can do that if you ask them?

It took me almost two years to dry clean mine! It has come up beautiful though.  Thanks for your advice ladies, I will seek out some tissue paper from somewhere?

The drycleaner I used had the option of a box for a extra cost - i just went with that.

mine is dry cleaned but in its suitbag in wardrobe still. It as about $50 extra fo rthe box etc, and it cost over $100 to clean, so I thought I would wait... Am going in bride of the year later this year, so will get the box and tissue after then, as I am sure I won't be wearing it again.
