I need to wash our gogo bag, and it says to use only wool approved laundry powder. We have persil sensitive and eco store but both say not recommended for wool.

I do have samples of Next Generation Laundry Concentrate Powder, but it doesn't say if they can be used on wool. Does anyone have the big box they can check for me??

I want to wash it asap! help!

TIA

I just used the Ecostore on mine and it was fine. Just made sure I did it on a wool wash in the machine.

No worries. I jst ignore those sorts of instructions Naughty Ah    Sam has excema so we can only use the Ecostore on her at this stage anyway.

I'm just paranoid seeing how much it cost I don't wanna ruin it first wash! Lol. But it puts my mind at ease knowing you use that and it's all good

I ended up ringing Next Generation and theirs is not recommended for wool either. Gosh makes me wonder what is.

It's not so much a powder thing but a 'wool wash' thing.

You can get ecostore or next generation brand of wool wash if you are worried about skin sensitivity. (I use ecostore wool wash on Hanny's things because of eczema)

The difference is that wool is a lot more delicate than other fibres and can felt if not washed properly, so wool wash is a good thing to have at hand. (Ah, I can feel my inner knitter coming out! Conveniently ignoring the pre-knitter that felted EVERY SINGLE CARDIGAN that was knitted for Hannah in the early days )

I'd assume that using normal powder would over longterm use do more damage to the fabric than using wool wash but obviously it didn't do too much irreparable harm this time!

I use the ecostore wool wash as well on our Go Go bag and merino clothing and it works really well.
