I bought some from Baby4You and I was wondering if anyone had tried it?

If anyone has, what were you thoughts on it?

I haven't. But have read comments from women on here and other sites.

Some like it and recon it works, whereas some dont.

I have also heard that it can also be a bit of a 'kill joy' in the love making area.

Good luck!

I use it. Its fine but if you use all the lube they give you with the one time applicator things get a bit too slippery iykwim. I find about half is fine and I don't use the applicator in the way they suggest (inserting inside you and squeezing out the lube) so that I can reuse it. It is way more expensive than normal lubes though and uses heaps more packaging.

I always use lube and I wanted to do anything I could to maximise the chances. Although Kazzle I'm interested to hear you use normal lube, maybe its not so bad after all.

I tried it one cycle - all on the right days (was charting and knew when I ovulated) but didn't help me. I just got the 3 pack and thought it was a bit too expensive for not guaranteed results...

I use cough syprup, but not Robittusin, it was gross! An online friend recomended Strepsils Chesty Cough, much cheaper and tastier!!

Yeah as long as the active ingredient is guaifenesin it'll work - won't help produce more CM than what you get but will thin out what's there, that is if you get more sticky or creamy type it'll make it more egg-white-ish, and be friendlier to sperm. Drinking lots of water also helps (and if you use Robitussen that won't be a problem, I needed lots of water to wash away the horrid taste! )

**cough** robitussin worked here....Ella is proof of that too! As are the babies of at least two couples we know!

DH was a medic in the Army and he is really skeptical about the guaifenesin thing . He wants to see studies and research about it assisting with CM and getting pregnant before we try it. BUT I for one am willing to give anything a go once . I'd be interested in knowing how many others fell PG using robitussin.

With the Robitussin, when did you take it, how much and how long?

With the Robittussin make sure it is the standard one, can't remember what it was precisely but think it may have had GM after it's name. Someone correct me please.

There are different types and it's the plain guaifenesin one you want, not one of the fancy alternatives.

I reckon the 3-4 days prior to ovulation is more than enough and you could probably get away with less.
