Does that help to strip them or is it just for stinky naps? How much should I use and do I use them together?

I stripped my nappies using scrubbing and washing liquid but am still having some leaks.

i put half cup of each in a hot wash, then rinse with 1/2 cup vingear (white), and then wash with just water, and hang out, i only need to do it every 4-5 mths or so

Sometimes you need to do more than one strip wash - you can test it by pouring water onto the fleece and seeing if it soaks through immediately or if it pools on top.
