I am in sooo much trouble. Well, actually, the Easter Bunny is.
A few weeks ago, Maya saw High School Musical easter eggs in Countdown and started bugging me for one. I told her she'd have to wait and see what the Easter Bunny brings. The Easter Bunny headed off to Countdown to do the easter egg shopping this morning, and there are NO High School Musical eggs left  She is going to be devastated, and I am kicking myself for not buying it earlier. After we left Countdown I went to the local Foodtown but none there either, went to the local Pak N Save but couldn't get a damn park and the gremlins were losing the plot by that stage anyway. I even tried Foodtown Online 
So, I had a thought... If any of you lovely ladies happen to be in your local supermarket/Warehouse before Saturday evening and you spy a High School Musical egg, can you pretty please buy it for me? I will pay you for it of course, plus interest, and I'll come and pick it up from wherever, I just need the damn egg or the Easter Bunny will be out of a job. I think I've seen these down at Papakura Warehouse and LOTS of them ...im going back there today so will check it out, I could be imagining it but I know I saw them somewhere ....a whole wall of them! I haven't been to the Warehouse yet, our local one is New Lynn and it is a bugger of a place, I hate it. But if you can get one, I'm happy to drive to Papakura for it! Looks like we are having a chocolate-less Easter here because I didn't get my A into G and buy them when we were B'day shopping last week - the shelves everywhere were BARE!!!!!
And I wouldn't suggest anyone go shopping tonight, total madness in town, you'd think the world was ending ....people tend to go nuts when its a public holiday the next day, traffic was at a standstill, the lines at the checkout were taking FOREVER! ------------- Single Mum to a darling wee boy of 3 years :) |

Is this easter crazier than normal? There were no hot cross buns in AMberley today. Well, not by 3pm when I decided to buy them. Well actually there was one bakery that still had heaps ledt and was about to close but at $6 for 6 I decided they could shove it. The fact that they are the only place still with them and were about to close their doors should have been a sign that they were too bloody expensive (that is too expensive isnt it????)
And no creme eggs anywhere either. SHOCK!!! Thankfully, I bought a panetonne this easter (YUM!!!!!) and have a stash of chocolate just in case

OMG Don't tell Ella that Maya is going to HSM on ice! Every time she sees the ad she goes on for hours about wanting to go
We told her to ask her grandparents to take her. Brooke wanted one but i didn't get her one.. mean mum was with Kels on this one $10 for a bit of choclate and a box. i got a caramello one with two small bars and a chocolate egg (desent size one) for $6.50 - last alot longer and no junky pressie thing in it

She didn't even remember it lol! Easter Bunny bought her a Trilogy Egg and a Crunchie Bunny and she was over the moon, more excited that he ate half the carrot she left him I think lol.
