          | Does anyone have any idea of how to stop avent bottles leaking. We don't get it often, and am not sure what is causing it, but after covering myself in milk this morning would love some advice!
 TIA

          | MIne do this now and again, and OMG its annoying. I usually find unscrewing the lid and screwing it on again stops it, I normally give the nipple a tug as well to make sure it is seated properly.

          | Yeah ours do this sometimes and I do the same, just unscrew and rescrew tightly then unscrew a little and it works fine. |

          | yep we always nipple tug and if it is a variable they often leak worst of all....we somehow lost all our variables via DC - not a bad thing as we somehow got two new number four teats! LOL!!! |

          | Same with us - also make sure you screw the top on THEN put the lid on, something to do with a vacuum seal or something?!?!

 P.S
I HATED those variable teats! How do you get a toddler to hold her bottle "just right" so she had the right flow?!! I guess they would be ok if you were still holding it for them

          | Yep I do the unscrew, screw thing if I have an issue. Sometimes it can happen if the thread has a little bit of moisture in it, so I just wipe around the thread on both the bottle and lid if its an issue.
But yeah, kind of annoying when you're shaking away and you get covered in milk!

yes this is what we do - I have a feeling sometimes the bottom of the teat folds over and then leaks round the seal. Normally unscrewing fully off and then screwing back on normally does the trick.

BTW its worse when they feed themselvesa and they get it all over them and THEN you have to take the bottle off them to sort out ....
