I am thinking of giving my daughter some formula tonight to help out during her little growth spurt she is in and I have one of the little cartons of S26 that you just "Pour & Feed".

Probably a dumb question but I haven't used formula before. Anyway, in the instructions it doesn't say anything about heating it up and I'm wondering whether you are supposed to or not.

Has anyone used this and did you heat it?

Hiya Freesia, yes we have always heated it up, just lukewarm, in a jug of hot water  Those cartons are so handy to have in the nappy bag when you are out and about!

We dont heat ours up. I'm too lazy and as a result I have a baby who will drink his milk at whatever temp is going...very handy!

u dont have to heat them, breast fed babies tend to prefer things at room/body temp anyway so if u do heat it not for long

Arabella is a little grub so sometimes it's heated and sometimes (like when we are out) it's not. . She will drink it either way

It's at many supermarkets in the formula section - it's in little 250ml tetra-packs (sp?)
Anyways we always heat the formula for Gina and also heat the S26 ready to drink one.

just to let you know, cold milk can lower a babys body temperature, so yea, either room temp, or heated milk is best
