Soak some prunes in boiling water and when the water has cooled give him that. Also rhuger drops the phone number is either 08002rhuger or 08004rhugher. Ive heard people say brown sugar and water works a treat but im anti sugar so havent given that one a go.

I don't feel like you a bad mum Luana, you are great and just remember that. James is just having a rough patch. Is there anyone that you can get to come stay with you for a couple of nights, to give you a bit of support and help?

I found with Arna then when she was straining I would take her nappy off and (lying down) would hold her legs up semi parallel to her chest, makes it alot easier for them to push something out.
She cried HEAPS when she was doing it but was alot better afterwards.
Something to try maybe?
Don't feel bad - OhBaby mum's are not bad mum's! Just know when to ask for advice

My friends son suffers from really bad constipation and she finally got him to eat kiwifruit (hes 2 1/2 now) and she reckons its been amazing for him. Maybe you could mush some up for him. Good luck
