We have been talking about this in the November thread, and discovered we all have lots of silly nicknames for our babies.... so we thought it would make a good topic out here!

Simone, Tom is a TJ as well but I REFUSED to let anyone call him that. What does your J stand for?
Peachy, Tom was known as Peanut throughout the pregnancy. So much so that we referred to everything as Peanut's...Peanuts room, Peanut's bank account etc. Now that he is out...he doesnt look like a peanut. |

Jacky-boy Buddy Bubbles Bubba JD (not so much but I bet it will catch on later!) And our favourite one at the moment (which will have to stop when he starts picking it up  ) is Monsieur (insert *pi**y or poopy* depending on whats in his pants) Pants - of course you have to put on a cool accent too to complete it lol. We're such geeks.

We have:
Pickle Hannah-Bo-Banna Hannie Hannah Berry Muffin Missy Moo (seems to be a fav amongst the OB bubbas!) Piglet Chicken Cherub Before she was born my Dad asked if we'd picked a name. I said we're keeping it quiet for now. He said "QFN, I like it" (pronounced "quiffin"). So the bump was called QFN, or Quiff. But that went out the window as soon as she was born and we had much better nicknames

Tikihana (one of his middle names) Tiki Harold (lol) Harol Honey bunch Honey bunch sugar plum Sugar plum fairy (Lol I'm sure he'll LOVE this when he's older!) Grizzle guts (which is what he is at the moment as he grizzles himself to sleep) Lovebug My ginga boy My boy Son He gets Fatty from his aunty but I hate it so we say "go to aunty fatty" lol... although she's getting DH back cos he called her daughter "poopoo head" (charming) so I can see why. Wiggly (DH named her that from few days old, Wigglybum when being changed) Rubes Rubino (when formula one season, don't ask me why) Ruby-Dooby-Doo (often sung in the Scooby Doo theme styles) Rubysaurus The Rubinator (said in an Arnie-like voice) I have called her Missy Moo like everyone else but not very often
You're not a geek emz, I have caught DH changing her nappy talking to her in a silly fake european accent

Liam is hardly ever called by his name so when someone does say it, it seems a little weird! But I'm sure as he gets older he'll be saying it non-stop

When I first found out I was preggers Keziah was 'Jellybean' and then she started to move so we nicknamed her 'Wiggle Bum' LOL
She now gets called Squirmy Worm, Madam Moves-Alot, Miss K Notice the theme? Most of them are related to the amount of movement she makes LOL -------------

Charly gets
Charly (sharly) Charlie, larly, lil lady shar shar, tiny lady, tiny, see ah see ah larly, Beeah, Beddah and B. The last three are from a song Jake made up about her that went beeah bub, beeah bub, beeah beeah beeah bub, beddah bub, beddah bub et al. Actually we mostly call her beddah or beeah, she answers it more than Charlotte, lol! Jake gets Jake, Jake dog, Jakeo, J-bird Bird Birdy Birdo. Sometimes still gets fatty from when he was a bub. Jett is called by everyone plain & simple "bubba Jett", even my little nieces call him that. Otherwise I call him my chubba chub.
Gia is GG or geegees by most of my family as well. I actually made that up for my sister's girl as she was nameless for 4 days after birth, so I was thinking of a nickname and came up with "GG" meaning "Gorgeous Girl". Ayja is still ayja-baby alot of the time, angel, ayja-bear, monkey, chickee, little red, "chocolate thunda" ( from the cat in the hat movie) we also use buhda sometimes cos she's sucha tiny wee thing that her tummy is always looking very full and round cos there's no room for the food to go and she eats so much! knicknames used for both: Flossie, (ayja likes to call people flossie-mallossie), thing one and thing 2(from the cat in the hat again) Pretty much any other pet name you can think of, but mainly princess, or fluffy kitten for paris, and ayja-baby/ayja-bear for ayja. or if they're being naughty/grumpy/whingy we tend to say they're being "mookey" which is a word we used to use when they were babies and were having a really crying clingy day. ------------- Janine and her 2 cool chicks, Paris & Ayja
