OZ!!!! The gold coast to be exact.
Thanks to everyone who gave us advice and shared their experience good and bad. We have decided we are going to give it a go for a year and then go from there. We are going around the 20th of September this year, the kids are excited and DH and I are both excited and figgin terrified at the same time. Yay I think half the of the hard work is done by deciding to go. Get the moving company to pack your house up that way its totally covered by the insurance (something my mum told me they moved back home a year ago), and get hold if AIRS to arrange you IRS numbers so you have them when you get over there. ------------- I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived! |

Thanks DH brothers live right near surfers on the Isle of Capri, but very pricey so we will move inland a bit as it cuts rent.
And Duh thanks mummy_becks I have researched until my butt was numb but never even thought of IRS numbers!  .

My friend moved June there last year so if you want any info or tips I can give you her email address. she has a 1yr old and a 4 year old and I know she is struggling to find friends but in general they love it.
we are thinking of going....just not to sure yet |

yay for you we seriously looked at this middle of last year but decided not to go and plus we were going with friends and they pulled out and their relationship ended so am glad we did not go I would have been terribly homesick as I am quite close to my family and with no one over there would have scared the bejezuz out of me lol............ hope it all goes smoothly for you -------------
