| Hey there i am after advice i am 35 weeks pregnant i have been really itchy on my soles and palms recently. i have asked the midwife. but she not sure. does anyone think this could be obstetric cholestasis??? has anyone had anything similar?? please message me if u have idea. just need some advice |

I had very itchy body including palms and soles of feet, I got asked to go in for monitoring of baby and they checked my blood pressure,blood and urine as they needed to check my liver,Something to do with the bile salts??? ....All my tests came back fine, but I was told that if I saw flashing lights to go back str8 away.

i had the same they were doing bloods for other things so tested me.. its a hard one as itching is normal but if its driving you totally nuts it might be cholestasis. ( i didnt have it btw) ------------- Mum to two amazing boys! |
