Is today at 3.15pm - 3.45pm. The sign is up at the gate, very BIG sign, so things are going to be full on around here today getting ready for the big event! How many toys can we shove into the wardrobes! And I hope people don't look in there, no doubt they will... oh well

heres a hint from someone who has open homes every weekend....do boxes of toys - put into garage (ours is internal) and with extra washing we put it in car boot of back seat of the one we arent taking out....

BEWARE peeple open EVERY cupboard and closet so remove floor items and put into baskets or boxes and put back after the open home....seriously we always end up with something in the garage each week no matter how tidy the house is!

Absolutely - get a crate and shove it in the back of the van. Wish I had known that trick when we were having open homes lol

We've just put a lot of extra furniture/junk in a storage locker ready for our first open home next weekend and the wardrobes are still full to bursting.

I hate tidying up for other people to poke through my cupboards and closets. Makes me feel ick.

Stupid real estate agent took some pictures then her camera battery went dead. The internal pictures are totally dark because the flash didn't work - and these she's put up on the harcourts website. Grr. I'm going to complain on monday as it's three days now since she took the pictures.

Sorry for jumping in with my own gripe - I hope that the listing goes well.

More open homes this weekend! And one guy is coming tomorrow morning for a "private viewing ", sounds like we are some seedy massage parlour! Anyway, this guy sounds promising.

Yep, frustrating for people who need to sell. Not so bad if it isn't something you need to do. I have a friend who is in a chain at the moment, I guess the only good thing is that there aren't the people waiting around to snap up the house she wants if the offer falls through because they can't sell theirs, so they should be able to renegotiate settlement time.
