With AF in the title this is bound to be a TMI post

This is my first AF post op and I am literally flooding a super pad within an hour. I have resorted to a super tampon and a super pad, that lasted 4 hours yesterday and about 3 today

I thought that after a D&C my first AF would have been really light as it is all new lining?!?!?

But on the bright side - just mild cramping! WOO HOO!!!!

Hmmm, not sure. Maybe give healthline a call. I think it is a prob if it is a pad every 30mins or so.

Hugs though! Good to hear the cramping is better though.

Aww that's not very good. Hopefully it will calm down by tomorrow.

I know that this probably isn't relevant, but my first AF after having Cooper was the same.. it was shocking

Oh! I didn't think it would be serious! Especially because I'm not in any pain, no clots or anything just get that "flooding" every so often - mostly just after I've stood up with playing on the floor with C

I think I'll leave it overnight (don't want to keep interrupting Anil's dinner LOL) if it's still as heavy in the morning then I'll call him.

Could be just pooling if it's worse when you stand up etc. I'm sure Anil wouldn't mind you interrupting his dinner, he has three kids and if his house is anything like mine at dinnertime it's mayhem! But good idea to see how it goes overnight, hope it settles!

You're right Toni, I'm sure it is fine. I really can't remember but I THINK mine were very heavy first month after my laps but then better after that. I seem to remember stressing as I didn't have heavy periods before the lap so to get a heavy one after was a worry but it is quite normal I think.

What day are you on? Day 2 is usually the heaviest.

Don't call Healthline, after the 30mins of ID they will just say that if you're changing pads more than every 2 hours, go see your GP - that's what I was told when I m/c.

LMAO Teresa!!!! That's exactly what happens every single time I have to call them! You'd be dead by the time they got to actually ask you what was wrong!

I'm on CD3, I'd say 2 and 3 are equal at the mo. Here's hoping that the heaviness means it'll be a shorter AF than I'm used to (7-8 days), I don't think I could handle bleeding this much for that long
