With good news?!
I got a call first thing this morning from our insurance company saying that our claim has been accepted.
This is awesome because we didn't think it would be and were expecting to have to go to arbitration over it.
The claim is for damage to our house caused by roadworks. We have tons of cracks that have opened all over the living room, kitchen and bedrooms and really didn't want to have the process drag on.
Woohoo!

Hehe, I'm such a dag but it really made my day!
I think it'll be a wee while before the repairs start, got to see the insurance dude again next week and then they'll send a couple of builders around to do quotes.
I'm hoping they'll cover the cost of repainting too, I really want to repaint the living room!

It is so nice when insurance comes to the party, especially without hassle! Hope you get to repaint, I am trying to choose colours for our living, dining and kitchen at the moment and don't seem to get getting anywhere!
