Lol Deb I thought bib and tucker was the name of a new style of nappy, not a brand name,..and I was trying imagine what a bib and tucker would look like!

They look cute but aren't really anything special without the embroidery. Also, I'm not a fan of 1m PUL - I find the nappy sometimes feels slightly damp on the outside if it's quite wet inside, which you don't seem to get with 2m PUL. I don't know if that's technically right but that what I've found (I have some cheap 1m PUL nappies that I use for childcare). The wipes fabric looks gorgeous though, as do the covers.

I think the lady said they're handpainted, not embroidered. They also have really good reviews function wise. (they're new, but she's had testers use them for months)

Sorry, didn't mean to offend or sound so negative - just saying thoughts out loud

Didn't think it was that negative - I haven't had problems with 1mm PUL, but I prefer the texture of 2mm PUL, I just thought I'd better point out they were hand-painted not embroidered, as that's a huge difference.

Please don't confuse this with criticism, because it's not!

But I just wanted to point out that this is what is special about them... and painting, not embroidery. It's an original design by a talented lady. I guess some people aren't into it, and I get that, but I think for a nappy these are rather unique! I love the idea. (Oh yeah, and Kate is lovely )

As far as novelty naps go, I'm not a fan of anything like the embroidered stuff you usually see. I mean, jamming fabric under an embroidery machine and pushing a button isn't exactly creative, but coming up with a funky design that is handcrafted is pretty cool I think.

They do look really funky! And I agree with Nikki, I'm not a fan of embroidered naps either.

But I just wondered, how long would the paint stay there? If I was thinking of purchasing them I'd be scared it would wash off after a few months.

I am pretty sure she has tested them over quite a long period of time and the paint has stayed fast.

I can attest to paint from creche remaining permanently on clothes, but that's another story! haha

OK, I admit, my initial reaction was a little harsh (can I blame being PMT? ). I too am not a fan of embroidery and should have read the fine print details better. I'm sure Kate ia a lovely & talented lady

I think the price is ok considering it is hand painted, and the shipping is free over $10!

Wow they are cool. The only think I don't like is side snaps - i'm not a fan but the painting on them is really cool.
