As most of you know, Fiona had her d and c on Tues. Well, something is not right and this morning she has been rushed to hospital with heavy bleeding and pain. At this stage they think it could be an abdominal bleed, she's waiting on a scan to see what is going on and had been told that she may need emergency surgery for an abdominal bleed or bowel obstruction.
So for those of you who are prayer-inclined, if you could spare one or two I'm sure it would be very greatly apreciated, and even if you're not, I'm sure your thoughts will be encouraging for her.
Edited coz my typing sucks when I don't have my glasses on

Hi ladies. Thanks so much for your support and prayers. I am home so as that suggests it is not serious.
Basically last night my bloating was extreme and this morning I woke at 6 to major pain and bloating (i.e. looking 6mths pregnany) and was lying in a pool of blood (tmi!). I hadn't had any bleeding since the op so this was strange.
Went to hosp and got some very strong drugs (all woozy now!), had tests etc. Essentially, they think I had a reaction to codine and it stuffed my bowel so it's partally blocked and filled with masses of gas (so embarrassing!!). My uterus must be tipped or something so the post surgery blood just sat there and suddenly came out. So not serious but it was important to get it checked as they were worried I was bleeding into the abdominal cavity. Very painful!
Also got lab results from the D&C and it turns out the pregnancy was a partial molar pregnancy. The good news is my HCG has gone from 96,000 to 3,000 in 4 days so it is looking like it will return to zero. If it returns to zero within 8 weeks I can attempt pregnancy again in 3mths. If it hasn't returned to zero in 8 weeks I may have to wait TWO YEARS before getting pregnant again!!!!
P.S for those who are interested a partial molar pregnancy happens when 2 sperm fertilise the egg.
So I am fine...bloated and sore but just fine. Very happy to be home with my precious girl.
Huge thanks to Emma who took Elle to chipmunks this morning. You are a legend.
