am thinking about taking Ella to an osteopath, as i am hoping that it might help with her sleeping/restlessness at night. Can anyone recommend a good osteopath for babies who is on the North Shore?

Also, does anyone how much I should expect to pay and if you normally go for just one session or several?

Thanks

We went to one in Devonport who was good with babies - cost was around $50/session and we needed 3 sessions.

I haven't got the name on hand at the moment and I'm running out the door in 5 mins but I'll hunt it out when I get back if you like.

Here we are - Kate at Devonport Osteopathy
17 Clarence St.
Devonport
445 6783

Yes made a big difference for Rowan - we took her as she couldn't turn her head to the left and after the first session we saw an improvement. Kate also did some work on her stomach and she was easier to get wind out of after that (though that bit could have been a coincidence I guess)

Hope it helps

We took Eva to a really good osteo in Milford. She specialises in children. Will look for her details and post them.

I don't know if she is still there, but we took DD to see an osteo when she was about six weeks old for some neck stiffness issues and it was great - only one treatment was needed! Her name was Linda Caplan and the contact number I have written in DD's plunket book is 4793604, she's based in Browns Bay.
