Our tv is caput..

So I did some research online last night and found a 32" lcd tv for basically a grand.

We go to the shop to check it out..

Come away with a 42" plasma..

Whoooooops! hahaha

But the good thing is we got it for $1800 rather than $2200 that it was advertised for.

But no aussie holiday for us this year. We are gonna have to go somewhere in NZ instead after that haha

Guess you'll just have to sell lots of nappies to make up for it

hehehe I will be! Now we have to save up for the wooden entertainment stand thinger that I want (I was fussy and didn't like the one in the shop that you could buy with it - freakin ugly) so it's gonna look funny on our old tv stand

hehehe I did research for an lcd. We currently have a 25" normal tv so I thought a 32" was a nice upgrade. But a 42" is a primo upgrade

42" tvs... that's insane. I like my little 14" but then we don't watch it enough to need a better one (only have tv 2 & 3 programmed in, and only watch CSI, Bones, House and Boston Legal.. so 4 hours a week)

That is very restrained of you Alia .

Enjoy your new purchase Stacey. My DH would LOVE a nice new telly but until the one we've got blows up we won't be replacing it.
