I know it is recommended to use a BBT thermometer, but I am wondering if anyone has used just a normal household one and not had a problem with charting?
Thanks :)

I used a standard digital one - it recorded temps to 1 decimal place. The first month that fertility friend predicted ov using temps was the one I got pregnant (after a couple of months off the pill).

If you want more accurate temperatures, getting a BBT thermometer is best that reads temps to 2 decimal places. It's amazing the difference that .01 of a degree can make!
