Hey guys,
I am posting this here, as it's more questions for mums-to-be who are further along than me, or had more than one pregnancy.

Sometimes I feel like my uterus is sitting in a different position, as in too far forward. Yesterday is was quite uncomfortable. Can the baby make the uterus move around at all? Is what I am feeling normal?

Also, today I woke up and my tummy was really hard. I thought it might be baby sitting really far forward, but at 18 weeks, that's unlikely, right? Surely it's too early for Braxton Hicks?

I've also been getting lots of achy pain over the last few days. I guess it's just stretchy, but I can't help but worry!!

Guidance appreciated!!

Yeah at around 18 weeks I felt lots of pressure in places and it could get quite uncomfy at times. Its most likly stretching and the baby moving round.
Also, I would find my tummy would get really hard sometimes aswell, Im not sure if it was BH but it would be really hard then after a while go back to normal, bloating maybe?

You will get lots of weird feelings and stuff as you get further along and I always wondered what they were, but everything was always fine

Hi, I'm new here and am about 18 weeks as well.
I find my uterus feels heaps harder in the morning when i wake up compared to other times of the day. I just figured it was something to do with how full my bladder was.

It could well be braxton hicks if they come and go. Some people get them really early.

I never had BH with Maya, but had them insanely early with this one.

And yep, my tummy moves around all over the place, sometimes she sits really high other times she is really low and I hardly look pregnant. I know when she's low coz I can hardly walk from the pressure in my pelvis, and when she's high my bump is really high.

Haven't had BH that I'm aware of, but the hardness of my tummy fluctuates depending on baby's position - often is bum up against the anterior wall of uterus, in which case it feels really solid - with a good poke, it moves and my tummy becomes more mushy. Like Sheza said, things like bloating also played into it for me.

I get the tummy pain from all the ligaments stretching - I notice it if I walk too much.

I have been told that when your stomach goes hard & tight that it is BH - I didnt really notice them in my first pg until the last few weeks but this pg I have been having them for the last couple of months - some painless others are painful contractions. Its should be nothing to worry about.

Uterus can seem move depending on time of day - last food intake etc. Mine feels like it moves when I have a full bladder etc. Also dont forget that as you start to get bigger, your stomach muscles stretch and split to the side and can be quite painful - like twinges.

Unfortunately, its all normal pg growing pains. Anything abnormal I suggest you talk to your midwife.

Apparently you get BH from really early on, its just that most people can't feel them much earlier than about 20 weeks in their first pregnancies. It might just be that you're more aware of your body and the different feelings than others?
I noticed the BH heaps earlier with my second pregnancy, about 16 weeks or so!
