My first attempt at fitteds was a success! I wasn't overly optimistic coz I had been warned that they did need washing in first but they were so damn cute I had to try them, and this morning I had two dry gremlins!

I used a Bitti Boo fitted brand new so the bamboo hasn't even been washed in, but I did boost it with a microfleece topped doubler. And then a bravo wrap. And even tho Mercedes had a huge, raisin-filled explosion which managed to get onto every single layer of nappy, there wasn't a trace on the cover, it was all contained.

Very impressed! I can't wait for my new soakers to arrive in a few weeks so I can try them with the Bitti Boos

yay for you Emma, my designer bums fitted was also a hit, 14 hours no leaks, it was boosted with bamboo, so that was great, also slept E in polyprop pants instead of cotton pjs to help wick moisture away...that worked too....

Now just have to stock up on fitteds before 1st May when the big money save starts...

Yay for all of you with new night successes! I have also had success using polyprop pants over top of Leo's pocket at night to stop leaks. I got mine from the Warehouse, only $15 or $20 each (can't quite remember). I think I might invest in a good quality fitted for nights too, he seems to be wetting so much these days.

Yay Natalie!

I never thought of polyprop pants. We have some, I just never thought to try them.

They're in the Bitti Boos again (yes, I bought 4 ) but boosted with a double layer of hemp coz I couldn't find my other mf doublers.

I've never heard of bitty boos but I'm intrigued. Where do you get them from?

And Yay for 14 hours - legend!

Mothers Instinct. They are the fitted version of the Bitti D'lish.

Emma, do they have the same snap-in insert as the d'lish? As in interchangable?

Only asking as that steel coloured one really caught my eye at the expo

The website says you can use the boosters in the bitti boo but doesn't mention the inserts.

I love the lemon one - up 'till now I was immune to the allure of the itti bitti d'lish as I wasn't that sold on the colours. Seems a shame to have to cover it up though.

a "fitted" nappy is one that requires a waterproof cover, and even tho AIO's are shaped like a fitted they dont require a cover as they have a waterproof component built in.
