I have just had a terrible night's sleep where i could not get comfortable at all (bump has really popped out and baby started moving this week!)

Is it worth investing in a Pregnancy Pillow? If so where is the best place to buy? Or do you have any other ideas that may help? I can't cope with another night like last night . .. (though i suppose sleepless nights i will need to get used to at some point )

Tripillows were my saviour. I just had one that went between my legs and then up under my bump. It helped so much!

But I'm afraid it will only get worse. Sleeping on the couch is surprisingly much more comfy than in a bed if you really need to get some sleep.

I bought a pillow from spotlight, was really cheap compared to prices on net... think I paid about $25 for it. and then only used it once... It now sits on spare bed, cos I don't know what else to do with it...

I found normal pillows stacked around me were just as good...

I have looked everywhere for those pillows as I massage preggy ladies, a client of mine got one from Spotlight as well, but they don't have them anymore and I can't find them anywhere else! I can only find the pillow cases for them which is a bit dumb. They are called "body pillows".

I got a preggy pillow and hated it, it was so uncomfy! I found/find that a few normal pillows packed around me really help, I sleep with a pillow between my knee's and one under my bump and its quite comfy and Im able to sleep better, but when the baby is kicking like a soccor player nothing helps but to get up Im afraid is does get worse as the baby gets bigger and stronger.

The couch is soemtimes more comfy than the bed, I dont know why, maybe it the back on the couch...you can lean against it.

I got a pregnancy 'wedge' from baby factory - about $15-$20 I think, and it has been really good for putting under the bump, in conjunction with other pillows between the knees etc. I like the fact that it's not huge, and much easier to turn over with.

I got a body pillow from K mart for about $30.
It was great as I could put it between my legs to help my hip pain and I could rest my bump on it and my head as well.

I will go have a look in K-Mart and on Trade me - thanks for those suggestions, I did go to K-Mart the other day but didn't see any. One of my clients recommended I got one as she uses hers all the time and I thought it might be better than having to have lots of pillows, cos you can hug it and put it between your legs as well.

I got one from kmart too. Didn't find it helped though. Took up most of the bed and found that I couldn't roll over with it in the bed, or I would have falen out.

Thanks for the replies. I ended up leaving my wallet (and train pass) at home this morning so i will not be getting one this lunch time anyway!

Will try the many -pillows option tonight first before splashing out on a proper pregnancy pillow and see how i get on . . .
