We aren't overly a happy bunch in our household at the moment.

DH has worn himself out by working too hard and not taking annual leave soon enough *rolls eyes*.. and then started fighting a cold. He's a silly man who works and doesn't take leave until it's too late and his excuse is that there is never a good time to take leave from work. So instead he spends his leave time recovering rather than enjoying himself.. MEN!

Anyways, he gave the cold to me. I automatically get a sinus and throat infection (which happens to me everytime I get a cold)..

And of course now Daniel is getting sick..

So DH has been off work sick and gets a text from a workmate telling him to check his bank acc. We go have a look and the long awaited quarterly bonus has come in at double what he thought it was going to be! He thought it was just his normal pay but it was his bonus

We have been planning what we wanna spend it on. Some of it is very boring like rates lol.. but its one less bill to worry about.

At least we have had something to smile about today!

hehe we love this one. His other ones since he's been at this job have been around the $500 mark which is nice n all but I don't think anyone at his work expected the amount they got. I'd love to go to Aussie on it but it wouldn't really pay for all that much

Oh yay! That's great news. Mine's already spent on bills (and I don't get it until the end of August ) but if I can get these bills paid off I can start TTC #2 so that's ok

Good on you My2angels for using yours on a holiday, what's the point of getting a bonus if you can't treat yourselves.

You know if you take annual leave and then get sick, you can claim the days as sick and not annual leave.

Yes but he's only got 5 sick days per year and he wasn't quite on annual leave yet (he's meant to be on annual leave next week I think)
