I love Akaroa! We went there a couple of years ago (pre-baby days), it's gorgeous.
Bloody cheeky seagulls though, we were sitting outside eating lunch when a seagull landed in the middle of our friends pizza and started eating. They shooed it away but in the process DH got stabbed by our friends fork and half the pizza went with the seagull. -------------

Aww I wish I could experience snow first hand (providing I have lots of blankies & hot choc too  ) ...I've only left Auckland ONCE (rotorua when I was younger) ...never been on a plane - I'm so sheltered!!! ------------- Single Mum to a darling wee boy of 3 years :) |

wow, you have snow - hooray! (i get very excited by snow). i live in hamilton and to my knowledge it's never snowed here, ever, so I am a little envious.
Rained here a bit, got blimmin hot a bit. Weather can't make up its mind at the moment. |

He he. I lived in Auckland until I was 5 when we moved to Dunedin. We were on our way down to our new home (roadtrip from Akl to Dn) when mum spotted snow at the side of the road, she got so excited.. stopped the van bundled us up and let us play in the grey slush. -------------

We had sleet and hail this afternoon....just as Tom and I were getting out of the car to go into the wrong house for a tupperware party. Had to run back to the car to carry on further down the drive. I was naughty and did a Britney....strapped him into the front seat as it was only a private driveway
Its 4 degrees outside and just started raining? DH had a full on blizzard at work this afternoon |
