What shops actually sell these? And I'm talking about steel ones, not those plasticy things like pipsqueaks ones.

I'm going to shop around a little to make sure I get the best set for what we want to spend on one (up to $300).

I know that K-mart have them. And iqtoys (online) do as well.

Mitre 10 mega and the warehouse don't (well Palmy doesn't anyway).

Where else can I try?

our warehouse doesn't? I'm surprised. I know the one in Gisborne ordered mine in - they had a stand by the laybuy department and we just went up and asked about it.

Yeah DH and I went there today just to get out of the house and they had a see-saw but no swings or anything like that. I even asked one someone if they had any and they said no. I was really surprised!

Wait Stacey, wait till june/july. kmart and warehouse have their annual toy sale and both get in the big swing/slide sets for good prices.    Just watch with getting slides, we got a plastic one because far too many bad stories have come from kiddies with the steel ones, from cutting fingers to nasty burns on hot days.

Sometimes it's cheaper and nicer to get them separately too, we got a neat single swing set and a single slide for about $70 each a few years back and were going to get a see-saw too but ended up getting a blue rocking elephant from bunnings for about $50 instead.

Definately wait for the sales when everyone gets them in.

Oh yeah we only ever intend on getting a plastic slide. I said steel sets cause I didn't want a bunch of places for those small plastic sets that you can get. Mums thinking of getting him a seperate slide now so dont need to worry about that

I don't really want to wait until those sales as they happen after Daniels bday (June 10th) which is a pain but I want it for him on the day, even though he doesn't know the difference I still want it for him then

I'll probably just order it through iqtoys since they do free delivery and the kmart ones are the same price.
