Well it's not reeeeeally TMI, but I have to ask. How common is it to have an AF without ovulating? I'm guessing that is what has happened to me, I dunno. I finished my last AF 8 days ago, and AF started again yesterday So this cycle has been a whole 15 friggin days. It's quite unlikely that I would ovulate during the 8 days I didn't have AF isn't it?
Why can't being a woman be easy. I get so darned hormonal and emotional during AF that a 15 day cycle is NOT a good thing, AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!

Hey minik8e,
For a while there my cycle was odd like that, I'd get AF and then a week later get it again! It went like that for several cycles and then turned into a predictable 28 day cycle (which I've NEVER had) and it's held steady for several months now.

All I can say is that it's total ar**. This is TMI - but both times it's started it has been just after BDing, could that maybe have something to do with it? In saying that, we have BDed at other times and it hasn't come!!!

I'm not too sure about this but maybe if your af was lighter or shorter than usually maybe it is just an extention of the 1st af????
It does seem odd, I have had af last for 10 days then stopped for 8 days before returning for 12 days then things went back to normal the next month.
I don't think BDing would have much to do with it.

same boat here but mine is from coming off depo. have you been on any contraception recently? i know depo has totally screwed me over but i know the pill can alter things for a while too. maybe give it a few months to see if it straitens out then go see the doc in case it could be stress or eating habits or the flu etc... different body's react to different things but if this has only just started and their is absolutly no reason at all for it to be wonky then see the doc sooner rather than later if you ttc

Hey, I'm going thru the same thing right now. AF started on 19th April and lasted 12 whole days (last day last Wed)!!! Spotting on Thurs, then I had one blissful day with nothing, and it started again it's sooooo frustrating, isn't it?!! So like you, i very much doubt I ovulated on that ONE day I had no AF!!
I went to my doctor on Friday, and she suspects I may have PCOS, so I had a blood test and should find out the results this week sometime.
I definately think you should see your doctor!
Good luck!
