My pet hate is when you buy a CD or Book and you peel the sticker off and are left with a yucky nasty sticky residue.

I just learnt the BEST trick for getting rid of it....eucalyptus oil!!! Its magic and gets rid of all the yucky sticky mess!!! FANTASTIC!!! Just rub a little over it with kitchen towel - and hey presto its gone!!

Just thought it was a good one to bank in the memory files!

yep, I work in optics and thats what we use to get price tags/stickers off the spectacle frames.

I used to work for a bookshop and we ever we had trouble getting a barcode label off we used it as well- works really well.
