Does anyone know of a good website I can use to find out what events were in the news on the day Lincoln was born. MIL brought him a baby journal which I am trying my best to complete but one page asks for a list of news events from the birthday date and do you think I can find anything on line!?! I would google his birthdate without the year and see what happened in history that day. But for his actually birthdate this year have a look at the herald website to see what the headlines were. ------------- I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived! |

Dompost does a "Today in History" section in it's daily paper and also in the horoscopes section "if you were born today". If you pop to your library they should have back issues of the Dom post - or you could just email them and see if someone will send it to you. -------------
